Un viaggio a Roma (Part 1)
The CD ROM “Un viaggio a Roma” (Part 1) is an interactive Italian language Course produced by the Italian Didactic Centre and sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Part 1 consists of 10 units including listen and talk, vocabulary practice, printouts and much more.
The CD ROM is available to all Italian Teachers and to the general public for purchase ($49.95 including GST plus postage and handling).

SACSA Framework
The CD ROM "Un viaggio a Roma", Part 1 (A Trip to Rome) is an interactive Italian language Course produced by the Italian Didactic Centre of SA Inc. It is program of work divided into ten units and aligned to the SACSA framework. It has been developed for Middle School at Standard 4 but can be adapted for use at other levels. Each unit contains activities which enable students to develop skills in Communication, Understanding Language and Understanding Culture. It contains listening activities, oral activities, reading comprehension and a variety of components, which allow students to learn about Italian culture and compare it to their Australian experience. It provides opportunities for teachers to develop all of the essential Learning. |

Instructions for getting started
Please note that you will need the latest free versions of Flash and ACROBAT READER to run the CD ROM "Un viaggio a Roma".
Also, note that you're Windows PC/Macintosh may have different settings so, please adjust procedure as it seems fit.
Instructions for getting started for Windows PC users:
Insert the CD ROM into your drive. It should run after a few seconds on you PC/MAC. If it does not run automatically continue with the following steps:
- Double click on the My Computer icon
- Right click on the ITALIAN icon
- Click on Explore
- Double click on the INDEX icon to run the HOME PAGE of "Un viaggio a Roma" and click ENTER
Some operating systems will refuse to run for security reasons, therefore continue with the following steps:
- Return to MY COMPUTER and double click on Essential plug-in folder
- Double click on install flash player active x
- Follow install shield wizard for Adobe Flash Player 9 active instructions
- Double click on flash fix folder and follow instructions to allow active content to run
- Click ENTER on the HOME PAGE of "Un viaggio a Roma"
Instructions for getting started for Macintosh users:

- Double click on the INDEX icon
